| Labor's addiction to Spin continues |

Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Waste Watch Anthony Roberts today revealed Labor's addiction to spin continues unabated with the Iemma-Watkins Government hiring a more than one spin doctor every two days since the State Election. "In the 25 days since the 24 March election, Labor have advertised for at least 14 media advisers with combined salaries of over $1.2 million," Mr Roberts said. "This just goes to show a leopard doesn't change its spots, especially a Labor leopard," he said. "Morris Iemma and John Watkins always revert to spin over substance - if you can't win an argument on the merits, win it on the spin. "Labor has its priorities all wrong - instead of putting these much-needed resources into frontline services, Labor is beefing up its media spin team. "Morris Iemma can always find money for political purposes, such as the $25 million to delay the road changes associated with the Lane Cove Tunnel, but when it comes to frontline services, they are forced to beg. "It no wonder Labor has driven the budget into deficit," Mr Roberts said.
