Anthony Roberts MP, Member for Lane Cove, hopes some eligible locals might apply to become Youth Commissioners for the NSW Community Relations Commission.

"The Commission needs fill two vacancies.

"Commissioners must be 18 and not more than 24 years of age at the time of their appointment.

"Appointees will represent young people by ‘working to promote equal rights and responsibilities’.

"They will appreciate the different language, religions, racial and ethnic backgrounds of NSW residents,” said Mr Roberts.

Appointments are usually for a three year period with regular meetings held on the second Friday of every month.
