Anthony Roberts MP, Member for Lane Cove and Jillian Skinner MP, Shadow Minister for Health opened the Lane Cove Physio centre’s Hydrotherapy Pool on April 22^nd 2010.

“Since the closure of the pool at Royal North Shore Hospital, residents have had to either travel out of the area or miss out altogether, as other facilities do not cater for community users” Mr Roberts said.

“Lane Cove is fortunate that Jack Perisa from Lane Cove Physio realised that many people in and around the area were being disadvantaged, so late last year he moved into his new premises and installed the hydrotherapy pool” he said.

Jillian Skinner, Shadow Minister for Health, said “she was pleased to see that patients once again had the ability to ensure they could receive their full treatment without the inconvenience and expense of travelling great distances”.

Radio 2GB’s Alan Jones and a number of physicians also attended to see the facility first hand and to discuss with staff the wide range of services available.
