Anthony Roberts, Member for Lane Cove, encourages all Community groups involved in crime prevention, road safety, emergency readiness and the environment to visit www.nrma.com.au/grants and register their interest.

“Grants range from $500 to $5000 and applications will open on March 1^st.

“If your group, club or organisation is seeking to change the behaviour on our roads and reduce the likelihood and severity of road accidents;

or

Increasing safety and security in local communities by reducing the opportunity for crime;

or

Focusing on creating awareness about the importance of preparation and response in relation to minimising the likelihood or severity of incidences in and around the home;

or

Raising awareness and/or promote actions to combat climate change. Programs that focus on areas such as renewable energy and carbon reduction will also be considered.

“This is a great opportunity for many of our local groups to tap into some additional assistance, said Anthony Roberts MP.
